The Receptionist performs a variety of accounting functions, clerical and receptionist duties associated with the daily operation of an effective business office.
The Duties of this role encompass, but are not confined to:
- Handle telephone inquiries, welcome visitors, and address routine questions both in person and over the phone, directing calls and messages to the relevant staff members.
- Manage accounts payable, which involves verifying amounts and applying necessary codes.
- Handle accounts receivables by confirming totals.
- Complete daily bank deposits for resident accounts receivable.
- Organize and maintain departmental records and files, including routine office documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Receive incoming mail, coordinate its distribution, and process outgoing mail.
The ideal candidates will possess:
- Successful completion of high school or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Business English, office procedures, basic bookkeeping, and prior experience in handling cash.
- Demonstrated satisfactory experience in the day-to-day operations of a business office.
